5K/10K Speed Training - Spring 2010

FRS 5K/10K Speed Training Program

Program Duration: 10 Weeks
Start Date: February 9, 2010

This program is designed for those that wish to improve on your 5k/10K times.  The training will focus on track and tempo run workouts.  This program will be led by a certified USA Track and Field coach.

All participants will receive structured workouts, water or sports drink provided at workouts, and 10% discount at Front Running sports during the program.

Workouts:
Tuesday Tempo Run - 6:00pm
Meet at Front Running Sports for tempo runs on the trail.  Meeting venues may vary as training progresses.

Thursday Track Workout - 6:00pm
Meet at Lake Mary High School Track.  Please plan to arrive a few minutes early to do a short warm up.

Pre-requisite:
This program is designed for those that already have a good running base and are looking to increase speed.

Refund policy:
All program fees are non-refundable.  Refunds will only be considered for medical reasons and request must be accompanied by a physician's letter.  Once the training program exceeds the half-way point, no refunds are issued.
